Gautham Menon’s comeback, Chimpu’s brilliant performance; Applause for the cool forest
Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the new movie Vent Thanintha Kaad is getting good response from the audience. After a long break, Gautham Menon’s best work has been seen.
If the director’s last films were all disappointments, the audience says that Gautham Menon, who was there until ‘Nee Thane En Ponvasantham’, has at least recovered with this film.
There are also comments that Gautham Menon’s comfort area love scenes were not that good and lag was felt at some places. But overall the movie, especially the first half is a good movie experience.
It is also said that the film has all the elements of the usual gangster films and gives a different look through the making and emotional connection. They point out that the film is more than just a hit-and-run gangster movie, but the protagonist’s life journey has been given importance.
Silambarasan’s performance is being positively praised by even those who don’t like the movie that much. Everyone points out that Chimpu has brilliantly portrayed Muthu’s life from the age of 20, the various periods and the changes that the character undergoes through life experiences.
Chimpu had garnered appreciation with the film Maanad, which was based on the time travel genre. Many say that Muthu is the best character and performance of his career. Along with this, there is also an opinion that Chimpu overcomes the shortcomings of Gautham Menon in the direction and screenplay.
Malayalam actors Neeraj Madhu and Siddique are playing the lead roles in the film. Their performance is also getting good response. A.R. Social media reactions also say that Rahman’s background music and songs make the movie more engaging.
