GCC countries reiterate their constant support for the territorial integrity of Morocco
Doha – The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries reiterated, Tuesday in Doha, their constant position in favor of the Moroccanness of the Sahara and the preservation of the security and stability of the Kingdom of Morocco and its territorial integrity.
In their final communiqué following the 44th summit of the GCC Supreme Council, held under the presidency of Qatar, the leaders of the member countries of this regional group welcomed Security Council Resolution 2703 of October 30, 2023 on the issue of the Moroccan Sahara.
They further stressed the importance of the privileged strategic partnership between the GCC and the Kingdom of Morocco and the implementation of the joint action plan.
The GCC Supreme Council also congratulated the Kingdom following FIFA’s decision to accept the joint bid of Morocco, Spain and Portugal for the organization of the final stages of the 2030 World Cup.
