Gelati Dino, Italian artisan ice cream company based in Empuriabrava, has opened its first point of sale in the counties of Tarragona The new establishment is located in Calafellin a premises of 50 square meters that has a production workshop and terrace.
The store is a franchise led by pastry chef and entrepreneur Susana Barrancowhich with the opening has generated four jobs. This 2023 there are already three ice cream parlors that Gelati Dino has put into operation, including the opening of stores in Perpignan (France) and Doha (Qatar). The company’s forecast is to increase this figure in the coming months.
Specifically, Gelati Dino plans to open seven establishments during 2023, counting the openings so far. “In Perpignan the reception has been very positive, consolidating those customers who were already able to taste our ice creams on the Costa Brava and who can now do so without leaving their country. As for Qatar, we have taken another step to achieve brand recognition and market-leading positioning,” says Brand Director Stefano Rosso.
The company’s goal for the coming months is to maintain this line of expansion with the opening of new stores in the city of Madrid, Andalusia and the Baix Empordà region. The Girona company is finalizing all these projects with their respective owners and franchisees.
