Hundreds of members and supporters of the LGBTI community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual and Intersex) marched in the main streets of San Salvador to commemorate the month of the so-called “Gay Pride”.
According to the LGBTI Federation, one of the reasons for the march is because in El Salvador the people belonging to this community are “the object of constant violations of our rights and that become constant attacks.”
They also urged, among other things, the approval of an identity law, and criticized the fact that the aforementioned legislation is not yet being studied in the Legislative Assembly.
The march toured the main points of San Salvador.
