The four tolls of the Generalitat will become more expensive by around 3% from 2024, as published this Wednesday the Official Journal of the Generalitat (DOGC). The most important increase from January 1st will be that of the C-16 in the section between Sant Cugat, Terrassa and Manresa, which will increase by 3,5%. In the Cadí Tunnel, the Vallvidrera Tunnel and the C-32 on the Castelldefels – Sitges – El Vendrell axis, the increase in fares will be 3,33%. On the C-16, for example, the toll between Sant Cugat and Terrassa from Monday to Friday for a tourist it will go from costing 1.62 euros to 1.68. On the C-32, the section between Castelldefels and Sitges, the increase in the trunk barrier of Vallcarca will be from 26 cents, up to 8.05 euros.

The discounts on the C-16 and C-32 are increasing

From next January 1, the Generalitat too will expand the discounts on C-16 and C-32. At C-16, the morning rush hour will be brought forward to 6:30 a.m. on non-holiday discounts, which apply to the Sant Vicenç de Castellet barriers in both directions. On the C-32, the discount for compulsory mobility is increased to 75% in the section between Sitges and Vendrell with the aim of making “more attractive” thehighway and lighten traffic the C-31 (currently the bonus is 70%).
