Festival Chef is back! This time, it will be about finding the best ramen in Geneva. For its second edition, the Geneva Culinary Competition has decided to highlight this traditional Japanese dish.
This is the return of a culinary competition that was a definite success last time in Geneva Chef Festival,
For this second edition, it will be a question of knowing where to have the best ramen in Geneva, a traditional Japanese dish, very fashionable in recent years.
Eight restaurants decided to participate in the game and created a recipe specifically for the competition. Two prizes are at stake, the public’s and that of Mitsuru Tsukada, chef of Saatchi at the Mandarin Oriental in Geneva.
Was it difficult to convince restaurant owners to participate this year?
Chef Festival co-founder Valentin Maitre responds:
Chef Mitsuru Tsukada will be responsible for tasting the three best ramen chosen by the public.
How did this meeting happen? Valentin Master:
The Chef Festival will take place from April 19 to May 5.
As a reminder, to participate, you have to go to one of eight participating restaurants, ask for the special ramen and vote via your smartphone and a QR code.
There is a price of 26 francs.
The burger was highlighted at last year’s Chef Festival. This first edition was sponsored by Danny Khizer, Top Chef finalist and chef of the Bayview.
It was the Melted Burger that was doubly rewarded, as it received the public award and the chef’s award.
More than 3,300 people voted for the 4,500 burgers sold.
