New Delhi : For this year’s Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award (Kendra Sahithya Academy Award) George Onakkoor (George Onakoor) Deserved. His autobiography Hridayaragangal won the award. He won the Raghunath Paleri Children’s Literature Award and the Mobin Mohan Youth Award.
Raghunath Paleri won the award for his work ‘They are three and a rainbow’. Meanwhile, Mobin Mohan’s novel won the award for his novel ‘Jakkarantha’. The Kendra Sahitya Akademi Awards were announced today.

George Onakkoor is best known as a novelist and narrator. He has won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and many other awards before this. He received the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award in 1980 and 2004, the Thakazhi Award in 2006 and the Kesavadev Sahitya Award in 2009.

He has also served as the first unofficial chairman of the State Resource Center, Director of the Institute of Children’s Literature, Director of the State Encyclopedia Institute and sculptor of the Balakairali Encyclopedia.
