Today at the FIFA office in the French capital, Paris, a meeting was held between the president of the BFS Georgi Ivanov and the president of the world football headquarters Gianni Infantino, reports the website of the BFS.

The possibility of Bulgaria again participating in the important international championships was discussed. It was the FIFA Series from earlier this year that was helpful in this regard, as it offered training to the national teams, participating in competitive games against teams from different confederations.
Also discussed is the need to provide high quality facilities for all and how the FIFA – Forward program can play an important role in this direction. The development of women’s football was one of the topics of the conversation.
The president of FIFA used the opportunity to personally congratulate Georgi Ivanov on his election as president of the BFS. After thanking for the visit, Gianni Infantino assured Ivanov that he has the support of the world headquarters for the development of football in our country,” the material reads.
