According to the data of the election commission, “Georgian Dream” is followed by four opposition parties that have overcome the 5% threshold: “Coalition of Change” – 11%, “Unity – National Movement” – 9.8%, “Strong Georgia” – 9%, “For Georgia” – 8%.

The “Coalition of Change” does not recognize the elections, its leader Nika Gvaramiya announced. He declared that the “Georgian Dream” was carrying out a constitutional coup.

“The election fraud scheme has been deciphered, the public will learn the details on October 27. The elections have been stolen. This is a constitutional coup, the “Georgian Dream” is the author of the constitutional coup, and it will be prosecuted in accordance with the laws of Georgia. We have deciphered the scheme as the election was stolen,” Gwaramia declared.

Bokuchava said they are “not going to recognize the stolen, hijacked election results.”

“On behalf of the Unity – National Movement, we declare that we do not accept the results of the stolen, hijacked elections and we are not going to recognize these stolen, hijacked election results,” said Bokučava.

The oppositionist also noted that the Central Committee carried out Ivanishvili’s “dirty order” and announced the results, which show that “the oligarch Ivanishvili stole the victory of the Georgian people.”

Voter polls show that the coalition of pro-Western opposition parties won the Georgian parliamentary elections.

The alliance of four opposition forces has won a total of 51.9% of the votes, while the ruling party “Georgia’s Dream” – 40.9%, according to a voter survey conducted by the US public opinion polling company “Edison Research” on behalf of the pro-opposition television channel “Formula”.

In the “Edison Research” poll, “Georgia’s Dream” received 40.9% of the votes, while the opposition “Unity – National Movement” – 16.7%, “Coalition of Change” – 16.7%, “Strong Georgia” – 10.3% , “For Georgia” – 8.2%, but the other parties have not overcome the 5% barrier.

Meanwhile, according to the voter survey conducted by the TV channel “Mtavari”, “Georgia’s Dream” won 42% of the votes, “Coalition of Change” – 18%, “Unity – National Movement” – 13%, “Strong Georgia” – 9%, “For Georgia” – 8%.

At the same time, according to a poll conducted by the GORBI company on behalf of the government-controlled television channel “Imedi”, 56.1% of voters supported the “Georgian Dream”.

After the results of the voter poll were made public, the pro-Western opposition declared victory in the election.

“The people of Georgia and Europe have won,” Bokuchava told reporters, while pro-opposition President Salome Zurabishvili hailed the victory of “European Georgia.”

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze from the ruling party “Georgian Dream” announced even before the end of voting that his party is guaranteed to win the election with a large margin. He referred to the data received at the polling stations.

Bidzina Ivanishvili, the leader of the ruling “Georgia Dream” party, also expressed confidence in his party’s victory: “It is a rare case in the world when the same party achieves such success in such a difficult situation.”
