One of the most relevant foundation companies in the national arena, Geosecwill participate in the Construmat fair that will take place on May 23, 24 and 25 in Barcelona at the Gran Vía Venue. Geosec will present its underpinning of foundationsmicropiles or resin injections in stand 45, in the ACE space (Association Consultants of Structures).
The company, made up of technicians and specialists in building pathologies and accustomed to intervening in the field of all types of work, will show at its stand the most pioneering solutions that they have developed in recent years in terms of repairing airport pavements, industrial or roads and the techniques and systems used for it. In addition, Geosec also deals with the problems of cracks in the walls and, in general, provides applied constructive solutions, both in civil works and in construction.
This XXII edition of Construmat focuses on sustainability as an end to reduce CO2 emissions in the sector. In relation to this theme, 204 exhibitors and 366 brands will present the latest materials, systems and techniques available on the market, adapted to the latest environmental regulations. In addition, Construmat 2023 will include a congress with more than 40 sessions and 50 speakers on the transformative nature of the sector and its positive impact on the environment, where it will place a special focus on sustainability, digitization and industrialization.
These three characteristics are what define the projects selected in the Construmat TOP3 program, which will form part of the congress programme: the Pallars building, the tallest wooden residential building in Barcelona, the multipurpose hospital spaces built in Catalonia during the pandemic and ‘Corrochip’, a sensor system that warns of concrete corrosion.
Francisco Javier Martín Ramiro, General Director of Housing and Land of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda will also participate in the fair with a presentation on the NextGeneration European funds as the transforming pillar of the construction and housing sector. These funds contemplate an aid package of 6,800 million euros for construction in Spain, a large part of which has yet to be allocated.
Construmat 2023 will also include a day, on May 25, in which the recruitment of talent will be promoted through ‘Talent Day’. In this sense, the Training Classroom of the fair will carry out more than 20 technical conferences, workshops, demonstrations and applications in order for professionals to learn about the latest developments in products and services.
Wood is also going to be one of the protagonists of the fair and, together with sustainability, a house will be built live using prefabricated structures in wood and other natural elements during the three days of celebration. The objective of this is to show the most advanced techniques for the construction of sustainable, healthy and energy efficient homes.
