Andre Geraldes in madness (Radad Jabara)

If already, then already. Andre Geraldes is known as a player who doesn’t often score goals, or to be honest – doesn’t score goals at all. The Portuguese defender of Maccabi Tel Aviv scored a critical advantage goal for the Yellows this evening (Monday), thus scoring his first goal in his senior career. What’s more amazing is that Geraldes did it at the age of 31 and after 360 games (!) in his career.

He began his professional career in the 2011/12 season in the Portuguese Deportivo Abs uniform from the Portuguese Second League, where he played 30 games. After that, he left Portugal for the first time and signed with the Turkish club Shakhtar and played 32 games there. Then he moved to Blanches, also from the second Portuguese league, where he played 74 games in three different terms.

Other teams he moved to – Sporting Lisbon, Sporting Lisbon’s reserve team, Vitória Stovall, Apoel Nicosia and Sporting Gijon. Will the goal he scored turn out to be a critical goal for Maccabi Tel Aviv in the championship fight?
