The singer-songwriter warns fans against those who try to take advantage of the great wave of affection with which her return to the Sicilian stages was greeted after years of mental suffering and economic hardship
No financial help, only moral support. This is what the singer-songwriter from Catania Gerardina Trovato wants, who reappeared in public these days for some concerts in Sicily, after almost 10 years of oblivion, mental illness and economic hardship. But there is someone who, instead, has thought ofi take advantage of the huge wave of affection that has reached her: videos of her performances are bouncing around social media (in which she appears worn out by years of suffering and with a very simple look) and appeals to record companies and other artists to help her are multiplying. «Unfortunately, many fake profiles are appearing online…how sad…they say a lot of rubbish…» clarifies the artist from his Instagram profile. «I do have my copyrights…don’t let anyone fool you with nonsense…. I don’t ask anyone for money“. Then an appeal to the “keyboard cowards”: “Enough with this violence. I can’t even enjoy the support of the people who love me that immediately some s… tries to ruin everything?? Dear keyboard cowards… do what you want… you will never win against anyone» concludes the singer-songwriter who, in a video, reiterates the concept: she doesn’t need money, only affection, moral strength and, perhaps the best support, that is, the people who sing with her, under the (for now) provincial stages that are hosting her return. «I will make my fortune together with you» says the singer to the fans.
