“GERB will still have a prime minister, congratulations”, this is how Christian Vigenin commented on the news that Dimitar Glavchev is a candidate for acting prime minister in the “Panorama” program on BNT.

He added that he was looking forward to seeing who the interior minister would be, “who should provide cover for the ‘buying of votes’.”

“This is the result of the Constitutional reform of PP-DB and of GERB and DPS”, pointed out Vigenin.

“The rulers live in a parallel reality. The main result of what the assembly did was to purge the leaders of the GERB and the future leader of the DPS. They made them key factors in the parliament and the governance of the country,” said the deputy speaker of the National Assembly and an MP from BSP Christian Vigenin. According to him, the situation we are in is similar to the 1930s and we have a coalition that does not create peace.

“The consensus is based on – me on you, you on me. There are constant problems and scandals that go on every day. This is an unprincipled government that will not bring us anything good. And the changes in the Constitution are exactly in this direction. The changes in the Constitution are also in this direction. Some of the proposals have no connection, they are loose ideas. Immediately after the vote, the problems that came because of this haste began to emerge,” said Vigenin.

“Constitutionalists emphasized that an essential part of these changes are unconstitutional. They cannot be made by the Ordinary People’s Assembly. We are talking about the new provisions for the caretaker government, the creation of two bodies – the judicial and prosecutor’s council and the reformulation of the role of the People’s assembly. If the Constitutional Court declares these provisions unconstitutional, the effect of the previous norms will not be restored and we will put the country in the face of chaos,” he pointed out.

“Together you have sinned and together you have become unnecessary and that is why Bulgaria is going to elections and will look for an alternative” – that is how Vigenin addressed the representatives of GERB-SDS and PP-DB. BSP will try to provide such an alternative.

“What happened during these 9 months was a timelessness for Bulgaria, not a single important issue for Bulgaria was resolved. This government was created under external pressure to carry out an external agenda. Their program starts with foreign policy.” he stated.

Vigenin also commented on the adopted changes in the constitution, according to him, just as the problems with the official cabinet shone, so will the problems with the judicial reform shine later. He emphasized that the big questions facing Bulgaria were not asked and were not resolved, “because initially this assembly is unnatural, it is immoral for the voters of one and the other party”.
