jpnn.com – LOMBOK – Alika, a 4th grade elementary school student, has to struggle alone to care for her father who has lymph node cancer.
Alika takes care of her father amidst their very poor life in West Lombok.
This condition has raised concerns from the West Lombok Gerindra Party.
The party led by Prabowo Subianto distributed aid in the form of compensation and school equipment for Alika.
While providing assistance, West Lombok DPRD member from the Gerindra Party faction, Lalu Irwan, said that Alika and her father needed a helping hand.
“After we went down to Alika’s younger sibling’s residence, Alika’s younger sibling’s father needed attention from the local government,” said Irwan in his statement, Thursday (12/9).
Irwan, together with the management of Gerindra West Lombok, then encouraged the local government to be more concerned about paying attention to the condition of the community.
“There must be local government involvement,” said Irwan.
