jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Head of the South Tangerang (Tangsel) Perjuangan DPC, Wanto Sugito, said that his political party was communicating with Golkar to welcome the regional elections for the region nicknamed the Orchid City.
He said this in response to the news that Gerindra is nominating Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza) and comedian Marshel Widianto in the 2024 South Tangerang Pilkada.
“PDI Perjuangan Tangsel does not deny that intensive communication is being built with the Golkar Party both at the provincial and district or city levels, including South Tangerang,” said Bung Klutuk, Wanto Sugito’s nickname, to the media crew, Sunday (7/7).
Klutuk continued that the PDI Perjuangan cooperation building for Tangsel actually follows the political axis at the provincial level, namely Banten.
“Following the political cooperation structure built at the provincial level to be linear in fighting for regional election candidates,” continued the former journalist.
However, Klutuk could not reveal the figure that the PDI Perjuangan would nominate for the 2024 Tangsel Pilkada.
“It will be officially announced in the near future by the party’s DPP while providing recommendations for candidate pairs,” he said.
According to Klutuk, the candidate pair supported by PDI Perjuangan are essentially figures who have a people’s commitment and understand the governance of regional government bureaucracy.
The chairman of the Tangsel Perjuangan DPC, Wanto Sugito, said that his political party had established communication with Golkar after Gerindra nominated Ahmad Riza Patria-Marshel Widianto.
