German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht, said on Tuesday that German companies are able to contribute to achieving development and economic and political stability in Libya.
In his speech during the second Libyan-German Economic Forum held in the capital, Tripoli, the German ambassador renewed his welcome to the initiative of the UN envoy, Abdullah Batili, which he presented to the UN Security Council, regarding holding parliamentary and presidential elections during the year 2023.
Unmacht indicated that he met representatives of Libyan institutions, Libyan women and businessmen, where they agreed on one message, which is their desire for strong economic relations between Libya and Germany, and they also submitted one request, which is the return of German companies to Libya.
