German Bundeswehr resumes reconnaissance mission in Mali – Mali

Bamako/Berlin – The German Bundeswehr blue helmets deployed in Mali are resuming their reconnaissance mission, which had been suspended due to disagreements with the military government. The “operational contribution” to the UN mission Minusma will continue on Tuesday, a spokesman for the operational command in Schwielowsee near Potsdam told the German Press Agency.
