The German from Bora won this Saturday at Cassano Magnano, thus offering his second success in three days.

German Nico Denz (Bora) won his second stage in three days in the Tour of Italy on Saturday at Cassano Magnago after a long breakaway in the pouring rain.

Denz won at the photo finish in this 14th stage ahead of Canadian Derek Gee (Israel PT).

The two riders were part of a breakaway of 27 which broke away almost from the start of the stage, before splitting into several small groups.

The peloton was more than 18 minutes out by the time the winner crossed the line.
