Germany’s tour operators are also making cancellations and changes to holiday programs in Rhodes, after travel agencies in the United Kingdom.

** TUI Deutschland has canceled all departures until Tuesday 25 July and is offering free changes and cancellations until Friday 28 July.

Guests who have booked a hotel in an area of ​​Rhodes not affected by the fire can also rebook or cancel free of charge upon request. “We offer holidaymakers free rebooking and thus alleviate the situation in Rhodes,” said Thomas Ellerbeck, member of the TUI Group Executive Committee.

TUI said it had around 39,000 visitors to the island on Sunday and around 7,800 were affected by the bushfires. “They have been transferred to other parts of the island and are staying in hotels or accommodation designated by local authorities,” the company said. DER has already organized several repatriation flights.

** Alltours has canceled flights until July 26. It gives the possibility to rebook or cancel departures until July 30.

According to Alltours, no new bookings are possible until Thursday 27th July. From that day onwards, bookings will open again.

Finally, there are individual travel agents who have taken their clients from Rhodes and send them on holiday to Mallorca.
