Germany: Greens and FDP advertise in committees for “traffic light” alliance – Germany

At the start of the small party congress of the German Greens, Federal Managing Director Michael Kellner campaigned for coalition negotiations with the SPD and FDP. “We have a landmark decision to make today,” said Kellner to his party’s delegates, who will decide on the coalition negotiations on Sunday. FDP party leader Christian Lindner also praised the exploratory paper in front of his committees – these will vote on Monday. The SPD had already voted unanimously on Friday to start coalition negotiations.
