Germany: Number of vaccinated coronavirus patients in intensive care has increased

The percentage of vaccinated coronavirus patients requiring treatment in intensive care units has increased in the past few weeks, according to a response from the Federal Ministry of Health to a request from a faction of the Left.

As it became known, of the 1,186 patients with Covid-19 who were in intensive care units from mid-August to early September, 119 were fully vaccinated. This accounts for about ten percent of all patients in critical condition.

Between early February and early September, the percentage of vaccinated patients in intensive care units infected with coronavirus was significantly lower – 1.84 percent (210 out of 11,419 cases), AFP news agency reported, citing data from the Robert Koch Institute.
