The German Bundestag repealed a law from the Nazi era that prohibited doctors from providing information about abortions to women who wanted to terminate a pregnancy. “For almost a century, doctors have been banned from providing factual information to women about the possible methods and risks involved in having an abortion, and today this distrust of doctors and women is coming to an end,” German Justice Minister Marco Bushman said.
