At the next meeting of the federal government and regional authorities, it is planned to adopt a plan consisting of three stages to exit quarantine. Most of the measures are planned to be canceled by March 20 this year.

The federal government plans to cancel a significant part of the measures introduced to combat the pandemic by March 20. “Punctual to the calendar beginning of spring – on March 20, 2022, it is planned to phase out many restrictions in the social, cultural and economic spheres,” the draft document reads, prepared for discussion at the conference of Chancellor Olaf Scholz with the prime ministers of the federal states, scheduled for February 16 , reports ARD.

According to this draft quarantine exit plan, the first step will be to lift the 2G and 3G restrictions on stores. All residents of the country, “regardless of the region of residence, will be able to visit shops, without control.” It is also planned to increase the number of people vaccinated and survived the coronavirus during private events.

The second stage is scheduled for March 4. Starting from this day, it is planned to introduce concessions for gastronomy, discos and clubs, as well as for major public events. No later than March 20, it is planned to lift “all far-reaching protective measures”, as well as obligations to work from home offices.
