The Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach also stated that the disease due to infection with “omicron” does not replace the vaccine.

Health Minister Karl Lauterbach believes that those who have been ill as a result of the disease with a new strain are not protected from other options. “An unvaccinated person who has been ill with omicron will be insufficiently protected from the disease as a result of infection with other strains in the fall,” the politician writes. However, numerous social media users commented that autumn is still at least 8 months away and that the constant changes in the rules do not add confidence that the authorities are in control of the situation and make informed scientific decisions.
