The decision is to provide visas to citizens coming from India for work and study as soon as possible and to remove other restrictions. The German embassy has also announced relaxation of tourist visa restrictions, saying it will further encourage long-term visas.

The national fee for German visa applications has been increased from Rs 6,000 to Rs 3,000. It is very beneficial for study purposes for up to 17 years of age. Along with this, the Schengen visa fee related to tourism has been reduced to Rs 6,400 for adults and Rs 3,200 for minors, the embassy said.

Those who intend to stay in Germany for more than 90 days must pay the national visa fee and apply. Those who are going to Germany should provide detailed information about what they are going to do in this regard. According to the Embassy, ​​all those who are going to study should submit their educational documents to the Academic Evaluation Center for verification and approval.

A Schengen visa allows you to visit more than one place in Europe. For this purpose, 90 days can be obtained in one country only or 180 days in different countries and the procedures for the same have been simplified, the embassy said.

26 countries including Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway, Italy, France and Finland are covered by Schengen visa. According to the embassy, ​​Germany is facilitating such trips for many people by including them in tourist package tours.
