If anyone knows how to achieve a radiant face, it is Justyna Michalowska (23). The Krefeld native is Germany’s best beautician: In Berlin she was named the national crafts winner in the field of cosmetics. In BILD, the journeywoman reveals how HER skin always looks perfect.

Basic skin knowledge
“One of the most important tips is: drink a lot of water,” says Justyna. “You can apply cream to your face endlessly – if you don’t drink enough, the dark circles under your eyes will still appear.”
It is important to establish a drinking routine. “Many people have stressful jobs and therefore forget to drink during the working day.” A large water bottle that you take with you to work can help. The beauty expert: “I first drink a cup of water when I get up in the morning!”
It is just as important to keep the skin barrier intact. “Regulated care ensures that no impurities arise in the first place,” says Justyna. Expert advice: Have your skin checked by a beautician and ask which care products your skin type requires.

▶︎ Beauty rule number three: wash your face! “Even if you didn’t wear any make-up, that’s so important at the end of the day.” Dirt from exhaust gases or rain also settles on the skin – and can lead to impurities.
The makeup basics
The key to getting the perfect look is to first know your appearance type, says Justyna. Whether you are a spring, summer, autumn or winter type has nothing to do with the weather!
“Spring and fall types have skin with warm undertones and eyes in warm colors,” says the expert. The following applies here: warm make-up colors and golden jewelry look great.

Completely different for summer and winter types. It is characterized by pale skin, often light eyes and blonde to gray hair. “These guys like cool-colored makeup and silver jewelry.”
Quick makeup tips
Justyna also reveals a few tricks for applying make-up. A primer should be used under the foundation: “This makes the skin look more lively.” When applying make-up to the eyebrows with mascara, the following applies: dark on the outside and lighter on the inside. The expert: “This is how you create an ombré look. Otherwise you look unfriendly.”

▶︎ Deep-set eyes can be highlighted with glitter, reveals Justyna. When it comes to eyeshadow, the most important thing is to blend well to avoid edges. Last but not least: If you apply lipstick, you can define the contours beforehand with a lip liner. “This means that the lipstick, with its rather buttery consistency, doesn’t slip.”

By the way: The beauty master also has tips for men. Justyna: “With a cover-up stick you can cover up specific imperfections without looking too made up. It is also important that the lips are cared for. Using matte lip care prevents your lips from looking like a gloss has been applied.”
