It is a mammoth project of superlatives and Germany’s longest pipeline under construction. 47,000 pipes are being laid between Lubmin on the Baltic Sea and Deutschneudorf in the Ore Mountains – each eighteen meters long and weighing fifteen tons. The report accompanies the major construction project.
