The German arms firm “Rheinmetall” has opened an enterprise for the restore and manufacturing of armored autos in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ministry of Strategic Industries introduced, DPA reported, quoted by BTA
The service heart, a three way partnership of Rheinmetall and a Ukrainian associate firm, will facilitate the speedy restore and upkeep of German tools in Ukraine, the ministry introduced.
“The creation of a joint manufacturing facility with Rheinmetall will not be solely a step in the direction of the victory of Ukraine, but in addition an necessary stage within the growth of the arsenal of the free world,” Minister Oleksandr Kamishin stated in an announcement.
The German firm is supplying Ukraine with weapons for the battle towards Russia, which started in February 2022. Its merchandise embody Marder infantry combating autos and Leopard battle tanks.
Ukrainian specialists will work within the facility, and representatives of the German firm will perform technical supervision, the announcement states.
