The Paris Commercial Court ordered the liquidation of the delivery company, in receivership since March.

Gorillas has belonged since 2022 to the Turkish giant Getir, whose French subsidiary, in receivership since March, had recently decided to leave the French market. The situation had become difficult for Getir France (Getir, Gorillas and Frichti), which at the end of March totaled 200 million euros in debt, according to AFP, for a turnover of 120.3 million (in 2022). Regarding the fate of Frichti, “The Paris Commercial Court has decided to extend the receivership proceedings until the beginning of October”Getir said.
“Unfavorable contextual environment”
To justify its difficulties, Getir France accuses “an unfavorable contextual environment”, with inflation and regulatory tightening. A reason also given by the French subsidiary of the German group Flink placed in receivership in June.
