Gewessler: Despite the invasion of Ukraine, gas is currently coming from Russia to Austria – energy market

Vienna/Kiev/Moscow – Despite the invasion of Ukraine, Russia is currently supplying gas to Austria. This was announced by Energy Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens) after a meeting with experts from E-Control, the Energy Agency and the ministry. But even if there were no more gas supplies, without state intervention in the country, gas reserves would last until the end of April in an average winter, and until the end of March in a very cold winter, Gewessler assures.
