MADRID. The day before he was sentenced to life in prison for killing his uncle, James Bozzoli was already in Spain. The Corriere della Sera wrote this according to which there is a recording with his name and surname in a Spanish hotel, on the evening of June 30.

James Bozzoli, his partner and son arrived as tourists. The two adults gave their documents to the reception and investigators are convinced that they arrived there in the man’s Maserati Levante, even though the car’s passage was not detected.

By the time the judges read the verdict, Bozzoli had already been missing for eight days. The couple had said that they were going on holiday to France to her father, the art gallery owner Daniele Colossi, who told the police who went to look for the convicted man after the sentence, not having found him at home. From France the three would have left in the direction of “the Iberian Peninsula”, according to investigative sources. The trail stops there, on that 30th of June. From the first of July, that is, from the day of the sentence onwards, nothing more.
