FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka has officially resigned from his position as Mayor of Solo.
After officially resigning, Gibran was seen packing up his belongings at Solo City Hall.
There was something that caught my attention, namely the many children’s toys that filled the room.
Seeing this, social media activist Dr. Tifauzia Tyassuma, who is familiarly called Doctor Tifa, highlighted this matter.
He said Gibran would be even happier if this became a topic of discussion for many people, especially on social media.
He considered that the act was not an indication of mental illness, although it was close to it, and called the diagnosis “Peter Pan Syndrome”.
“Everyone was in an uproar when they saw Samsul displaying his expensive toy collection on the mayor of Solo’s desk,” wrote Doctor Tifa in a tweet on her personal X account.
“Don’t make a fuss. The more it makes the happier it is. This is not a mental illness, even though it is close. The diagnosis is: Peter Pan Syndrome,” he continued.
“Adults, almost 40 years old, are old, like expensive character toys like this and even become collectors. Same as those who like to collect expensive cats and even dress them up and give them clothes,” he said.
Doctor Tifa then compared Gibran’s actions to those of his father, President Jokowi.
He said the behavior of the child and father was exactly the same and his team played a role in making this viral so that it would be busy and become a topic of discussion.
“What’s strange is that he deliberately videotaped his actions when packing his huge collection of expensive toys and his team deliberately made it viral on social media,” he said.
