Last night (Wed) Apple announced the four new devices in the iPhone 14 family: the new Plus model that will replace the mini model, the classic iPhone 14 and two new Pro models. Now the first Israeli marketing chain reveals its official prices for the new Apple devices, including the second generation of AirPods Pro and two of the watch models that will arrive in Israel later this month.

There are also AirPods and watches

The electric warehouse chain announced that it will start selling the iPhone 14 series near Rosh Hashanah – which will take effect in about two and a half weeks – as well as the price. iPhone 14, the most basic model, which comes with the same processor as the previous generation – A15 Bionic – will cost you NIS 3,590 for the 128GB storage version. The pro model of the iPhone 14, which comes with the “dynamic island”, the reduced “and smart” notch that Apple introduced, upgrades to the photography system and a new chip in the form of the A16 Bionic – will start at NIS 4,290 for the 128GB version. For those of you who want the huge 6.7-inch screen of the Pro Max version and the battery life upgrade, along with of course all the other upgrades that came to the Pro version, the price will already jump to NIS 4,990 for the 128 GB storage version.

You may also have noticed that one model is missing in the iPhone 14 family whose price has not yet been revealed in Israel, and that is the 14 Plus model that will come with specifications similar to that of the iPhone 14 but with a huge battery, which should have the highest capacity in an iPhone so far. As usual, by the way, don’t ask Apple what the capacity is, or exactly how long it will last – because that’s something they don’t usually reveal. The Plus model will not land in Israel with the other three models, because it will also be launched in the US only next month, and therefore there are no prices yet for the Israeli market.

Compared to iPhone 13 prices, it seems that the price of the base version of the iPhone 14 has increased by NIS 90 (NIS 3,590 for the iPhone 14 compared to NIS 3,499 for the iPhone 13); Compared to the base version of the Pro, which actually registered a decrease of NIS 109 (4,290 NIS for the iPhone 14 Pro compared to 4,399 NIS for the iPhone 13 Pro). The most significant difference is recorded in the Pro Max versions – and it stands at NIS 190 – with the iPhone 14 Pro Max costing 4,990 NIS compared to 4,799 NIS for last year’s leading model.

AirPods Pro are new and not cheap

If you, like many AirPods Pro users, were excited by the announcement of the second generation of Apple’s more expensive TWS headphones – they too will be making the jump along with the first three models and will be available for sale later this month. The new AirPods Pro will cost you NIS 949, a price similar to the launch price of their previous generation three years ago, and one that is relatively competitive compared to competing TWS headphones such as Sony’s WF-1000XM4.

Those who are specifically interested in the new watches that Apple announced last night, the price of the discounted version of the Apple Watch – the SE version – starts at NIS 1,049; The base version of the new generation of the watch – Series 8 – will start at NIS 1,699 – in both cases we are talking about the GPS version only and not the version that also includes cellular connectivity. Extreme people? diving? You’ll have to wait a little longer for the expensive and larger version of the watch that was announced last night – Apple Watch Ultra – as it will arrive later. Although the price has not yet been announced, we estimate that it will be around NIS 3,500.

As mentioned, the first network to publish the prices is Electricity Warehouses. The chain does not import the devices itself, but buys them from one of the official importers in Israel. Apparently in the coming days the importers and the other chains will publish the prices of their models, although from the experience of previous years, no substantial differences are expected between the chains and the stores.
