At a fashion show in Paris, Gigi Hadid presented a bright yellow tape dress with the DHL logo. But it wasn’t just her outfit that attracted attention.
In 2011, Gigi Hadid made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week. Since then, she has been regularly booked as a model and is, among other things, the face for the fashion and beauty company Rabanne and the Tommy Hilfiger label. The American occasionally wears unusual looks for her jobs.
At the fashion show of the Swiss fashion company Vetements, Gigi Hadid walked the catwalk in an ensemble from the spring collection. The mini dress was made of yellow adhesive tape with the red lettering of the parcel service DHL printed on it. The label’s logo has adorned several items of clothing such as socks and T-shirts in the past. The eye-catching one-piece was rounded off with matching colored pumps. However, both the 29-year-old’s hair styling and make-up remained subtle.
Because of her bright outfit, all eyes were on Gigi Hadid at the show. Despite her many years of experience as a model, the influencer made a faux pas during her performance. As an Instagram video from The Perfect Magazine shows, Hadid almost tripped out of one of her yellow high heels at the end of the runway. She lost her footing, swayed briefly, but then caught herself again.
At the fashion show in Paris, alongside Gigi Hadid, rapper Travis Scott also walked the catwalk in black leather pants and an open black leather jacket. There were also some stars in the front row: among others, diver Tom Daley, rapper Ice Spice, actress Bella Throne and singer Normani followed the show.
Gigi Hadid is not the only one in her family who impresses with her modeling qualities: her sister Bella and her brother Anwar are also at home in the fashion world. Her older half-sisters Alana and Marielle, on the other hand, are less well-known, but move in similar circles as designers.
