Gilat Telecom will provide fiber internet services

Gilat Telecom Global, managed by Adi Tzafdia, has announced that it will start providing fiber-based Internet services. The company now focuses on business customers, and will offer packages of 100 megabits up to 1 GB.

In the future, the company will offer complementary Internet services along with cloud solutions, security, router services, cloud and more.

Gilat Telecom has so far provided mobile satellite communications services for aircraft, ships, trains and more.

In addition the company has provided internet services to customers in different countries. Most of its customers are in Africa, but it also operates in Asia, Europe and North America. In Israel, the company works with security bodies and government ministries.

Gilat Telecom is not interested in deploying fiber optics itself, but only in providing Internet services based on the existing infrastructure, and is already in contact with a number of companies with fiber infrastructure.

The company is interested in using its ability to provide satellite communication services and provide the customer with Internet with the option of a satellite communication network, which is also active in cases where the Internet infrastructure is damaged, as a backup.
