She apparently also took her husband’s last name.

A few weeks ago, the Schumachers had every reason to be happy: Gina, the daughter of Michael and Corinna Schumacher, married her long-term partner Iain Bethke on September 28th in Mallorca. The celebrations, which lasted several days, took place in a small group on the family property. The marriage not only changed the relationship status of the two, but apparently also the 27-year-old’s last name.

As can be seen from her Facebook account, the professional rider took her husband’s name and dropped her famous last name when she got married. Because there her name is now Gina Bethke. Her Instagram channel is currently still under the name Gina Schumacher, although she listed herself as a photographer under the name Gina Bethke in an Instagram post from her ranch in Texas.

Shortly after the wedding, the couple shared a first photo of the wedding with their fans. Michael and Corinna Schumacher’s daughter is wearing a playful wedding dress, her partner is wearing a striped suit. Both cuddle together and smile relaxed. “An eternal yes to you, a yes forever,” they wrote.

There were countless compliments and kind words in the comments section of the post. “What a wonderful couple. You look really happy,” one fan wrote. Another person commented: “You really look like your dad in that picture, Gina. Only the best for you!” You can also read: “You are so beautiful!”

The athlete is the firstborn child of racing driver Michael Schumacher and his wife Corinna. The couple, who tied the knot in 1995, also have another son, Mick Schumacher. He is also a racing driver, just like Michael Schumacher’s brother Ralf and his son David.
