The menu of a working dinner in the Kremlin of the Presidents of Russia and France, Vladimir Putin and Emmanuel Macron, consisted of pickled apples with langoustine, fish soup from five types of fish and Russian wine, RIA Novosti and Interfax report.

Also, the heads of state were served ravioli with spinach, ginger sherbet. The second on the menu are sturgeon steak with ptitim, venison with sweet potato and blackberry. Dessert included pear tart with vanilla ice cream.

The talks between Putin and Macron lasted more than five hours

The leaders’ choice on the menu included Chardonnay and Rebo of the Divnomorskoye Estate 2015. The winery belongs to the investment group Volga Group Gennady Timchenko.

The presidents’ talks began at about 18:30 Moscow time and lasted more than five hours. At the beginning of the meeting, Putin noted the efforts of France in ensuring security in Europe, and Macron stressed the importance of dialogue in this area.

The French President arrived in Moscow for a meeting with Putin on February 7. Earlier, Macron said that the main topic of the talks would be to reduce tensions in the situation around Ukraine.
