Giorgia Meloni and her problem with women – Italy

Basically, Giorgia Meloni has nothing against cartoons, on the contrary: the 45-year-old Roman likes Japanese comics and mythical creatures. However, the enthusiasm for the “fumetti”, as the cartoons are called in Italian, stops where the drawn stories collide with their world view, especially when it comes to the family. Anything that deviates in any way from the ideal of the “natural family” of mum and dad and babies or somehow smells of “gender ideology” is anathema to Giorgia Meloni and her Fratelli d’Italia party. And so, unexpectedly, the cute little pig Peppa Pig from the British comic series of the same name has caught her eye.
