Shajapur (Madhya Pradesh): A six-year-old girl died of snake bite in a government school in Kachariya village of Shajapur on Tuesday. The incident came to light when the deceased Suhani Patidar was going to school with her elder sister, who works as a teacher in the same school, Saraswati Shishu Mandir.
When Suhani was sitting in school, a snake came out of nowhere and bit her. Before anyone could react, the snake bite had seriously affected his health.
In an attempt to save his life, the family took him to the district hospital. However, the hospital medical staff declared him dead.
According to the villagers, a snake was hiding in the crack in the walls where Suhani was sitting.
Dr Sachin Nayak, resident medical officer (RMO) of the district hospital, confirmed that the girl was brought to the hospital dead. Local authorities were informed and further action was taken by the police.
