Thuy Tien known as the 2019 Inspirational Beauty Queen of Foreign Trade University, Hanoi. She decided to register for the contest because she wanted to inspire life, spread positive things to everyone and also wanted to live life to the fullest, do what she wanted in this limited life.
Recently, she has returned to the beauty race. Miss Grand Vietnam 2024Thuy Tien said: “I signed up for Miss Grand Vietnam as a test for myself. I want to see where I am, what I have learned in the past and what I need to do to be better.”
Thuy Tien hopes that the influence of Miss Grand Vietnam can help her spread the message of optimism. She confided: “From my past story and current journey, maybe I can inspire everyone.”

The story of her perseverance female student Thuy Tien once made an impression when she participated in the Miss Student Contest of Foreign Trade University. The image of Thuy Tien radiant and beautiful despite her hairless head and her body looking fat due to water retention during cancer treatment… left a deep impression on everyone in that year’s contest.
In November 2019, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter and flowers to encourage Thuy Tien. In the letter, the Prime Minister expressed his emotion at Tien’s example of perseverance and overcoming adversity to live a meaningful life. He was even more impressed by the student’s perseverance in following the treatment instructions of doctors and nurses and maintaining a healthy, regular lifestyle after fully recovering.

After defeating cancer after nearly a year and a half of treatment, Thuy Tien wrote on her personal page: “This is the moment I’ve been waiting for the most, holding in my hand the “K Hospital graduation certificate”. Until now, I still can’t believe that I’ve been discharged from the hospital. Over the past year, it has been a long journey full of emotions: from depression and despair when receiving the cancer results to true happiness and peace of mind”.
After nearly a year of cancer treatment, Tien tried to return to school as soon as she felt better and started a new treatment regimen. In the second semester of 2020, Thuy Tien was able to go to class.

After recovering from her illness, Thuy Tien felt more mature, thought more about life, cherished what she had and wanted to spread love to everyone.
In addition to going to school, Tien also actively participates in a series of volunteer activities such as: Sun of Hope – inspiring children with cancer; Gratitude painting exhibition with works drawn by children with cancer; collaborating with K Hospital to participate in activities to give strength to those fighting cancer…
