On 6 October with «Corriere» and «la Lettura» there is the supplement dedicated to very young people and to parents, grandparents, teachers: stories, maps and advice on books, comics, video games
A rainbow entering (or exiting?) the school window, and then cats, owls, planets, pens, pencils, tablets, children… The cover of the new issue of «Girls’ Reading and of the boys”: the signature Sio, the Veronese Simone Albrigi, cartoonist and YouTuber, and opens the door to imagination. The “Letturina” – this is its “code” name – is the supplement that the editorial staff of “la Lettura” dedicates to young readers. Created in collaboration with Pierdomenico Baccalario’s Book on a Tree agency, it comes out periodically, four times a year: this new issue will be on newsstands Sunday 6 October together with the «Corriere» and «la Lettura» parent and will focus on the theme of “Return”, expressed in many different ways.
We return to school, home, to our country after having lived experiences that make us grow. There is a lot in the autumn “Letturina”: arrivals and departures, epic references, book recommendations, video games, TV series, music, manga, reportage, a centerfold with the game “If I were…”, the traditional final section of stories (which this time makes some much-loved characters born from the imagination of writers, cartoonists and video game creators return to childhood). And in this issue there are also you, very young readers and aspiring writers. Before the summer, in fact, we had proposed three author’s incipits, challenging you to continue: many of you responded and you can find a taste of your creations in the issue on newsstands on Sunday 6th.
«Reading for girls and boys» is designed as a useful tool for children and boys (from 5 to 13 years old or so) but also for their parents, grandparents, teachers, educators, for librarians and for anyone who has the task of accompanying the little ones in the great sea of books and in their growth path. In each issue it offers suggestions, curiosities, maps, different points of view to read, study, re-propose and reverse together with children and young people.
