It just comes out today, World Picnic Day, “Giro d’Italia in 70 picnics” the unusual book by the blogger Silvia Ceriegi published by I libri di Mompracem, which not surprisingly has as its subtitle “Eat on the grass, tell stories”. Born from the request to indicate the places of the heart where to consume food, whether gourmet or rustic, in the open air and stories, nature, monuments linked to the chosen place, the book is an agile, interesting guide of our country, full of stimuli and ideas, going from east to west, from north to south, with lots of it Tuscany and not only. And for each picnic, not only the itinerary to get there is indicated but also the typical food to get or the local wine and what to bring, such as binoculars to spot birds or a book. After so many months of, right, restrictions there is a great desire to travel, of nature and this book is one more reason to give you a spin, behind the house or in the Alps.
