Giro: Roglic officially wins the Tour of Italy, Cavendish offers the last stage in the sprint

A day in pink will have been enough for Primoz Roglic to win his first Tour of Italy. The Jumbo-Visma rider is officially crowned this Sunday on arrival in Rome. He had taken the leader’s jersey the day before from Geraint Thomas during a mountainous time trial. The Slovenian finishes 14 seconds ahead of the Welshman from Ineos and wins his fourth grand tour after his three Vueltas.
