This collaboration positions the Foundation as a key partner of GITEX’s World Future Health event, underscoring its commitment to fostering meaningful exchanges in education, health and research on a global scale, the Foundation said in a statement.
The Foundation’s entities taking part in Gitex Africa include the Mohammed VI University of Sciences and Health, the Mohammed VI International University Hospital of Bouskoura, the Mohammed VI International Center for Research and Innovation, the Mohammed VI Center for Continuing Education, the Mohammed VI National Laboratory for Medical Analysis, the Mohammed VI National Laboratory for Anatomopathology and the Mohammed VI International Center for Simulation in Sciences and Health.
As part of their participation in GITEX Africa 2024, the directors of these entities took part in a panel on the theme “Building a digital health ecosystem for excellence in training and care: the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health, a model”.
The topics discussed included the strategy for an integrated health and science ecosystem, new skills and jobs in digital health, innovative medical education with simulation and Artificial Intelligence, telemedicine, training of health professionals using Artificial Intelligence, accelerating research with Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies, as well as the importance of harmonizing hospital information systems.
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health is fully committed to playing a major role in all policies and reforms aimed at modernizing and improving the provision of care, as well as education in the fields of science and health.
