Launched on the sidelines of the second edition of Gitex Africa Morocco held in Marrakech, this new edition is part of the continuity of Tamwilcom’s activities to support startups and the innovation ecosystem.
On this occasion, Hicham Zanati Serghini, Managing Director of Tamwilcom, stressed that the second version of the Fund comes with an offer enriched by the experience accumulated since 2017 and is designed to meet a number of demands and needs present on the startup market.
“We remain focused on the issue of access to financing, particularly for startups, which often have difficulty finding dedicated financing institutions, because it is not traditional financing in this case,” he explained, in a statement to MAP.
And to support that Tamwilcom today presents an ecosystem comprising 10 partners covering the entire life cycle of the startup, from the initial idea of creation, to the search for investment, i.e. support in all the critical phases of their development.
Since 2017, this system has enabled the financing of more than 500 Moroccan startups, while supporting the activities of support structures active in the Moroccan ecosystem.
The Innov Invest Fund has thus established itself as an appropriate solution for financing startups, responding in a structured and comprehensive manner to the needs of innovative projects, from prototyping to marketing.
Gitex Africa, which has the participation of more than 1,500 exhibitors representing more than 130 countries, aims to be a hub promoting exchanges on the latest technological developments, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, health and cybersecurity.
