Glenmoore Eagle vs. Sioux Falls Little League: Watch, Time & TV

by Mark Thompson

It’s day two of the 2025 Little League World Series, and Pennsylvania’s Glenmoore Eagle is set to play its first game this evening, Thursday, Aug. 14, against South Dakota’s Sioux Falls. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern and will be broadcast on ESPN.

Pennsylvania has not won the Little League World Series since 1960.

Glenmoore Eagle earned its spot in the 2025 Little League World Series by winning the Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournament on Aug. 8 with a 7-1 victory over Maryland. This marks a significant moment for the team from Chester County, as it’s the first Junior League team from Naamans Little League to reach this prestigious competition. Their journey includes a perfect 5-0 run in the East regionals. The team received a sendoff on July 31, 2025.

Sioux Falls Little League, representing the Midwest Region, enters the tournament with a 4-1 record in their regional play, including three shutouts. This is their fourth appearance in the LLWS since 2017.

Glenmoore Eagle is aiming to break a 65-year championship drought for Pennsylvania Little League baseball teams. The last victory for the Keystone State was in 1960 when Levittown American Little League took home the title. For Sioux Falls, a win would be historic, marking the first LLWS title for a team from South Dakota and the first for the Midwest Region.
