In the municipality of PenjamoGuanajuato, the National guard in coordination with staff of Pemexlocated a possible distribution center of huachicol where he secured tanks and containers used to store fuel of illegal origin.
According to the Government of the Republic, the seizure of huachicol grew 70.45 percent in the last year.

7 million 538 thousand 189 liters of huachicol were seized between September 1, 2024 and June 30, 2024.
The government has saved 2 billion pesos during the six-year term by not allowing corruption, according to President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in the sixth government report.
Just by fighting huachicol, 342 billion of those have been saved, which is the cost of the Dos Bocas refinery.

It is worth noting that this seizure adds to the more than 1,975 illegal taps seized in the country in the last year, 11 buildings and 871 containers.
