It has been 7 days since the people staged a protest near the office of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa in Sri Lanka. Protesters say people are all united as one family and fighting against one family.

In Sri Lanka, which is mired in a severe economic crisis, the popular struggle against President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse is intensifying. Nevertheless, the Rajapaksa family rule continues unabated. In this situation, seven days have passed since the spontaneous protest by the people near the office of Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. Thousands rallied on the battlefield last night and chanted slogans against President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. The place where the protest took place was designed with lights called GO HOME GOTA. As well, audios and singers have been recording their protest against the Chancellor.

The protesters carried banners saying that the people of Sri Lanka were united as one family and were fighting against one family. People in the field have assured that their struggle will continue until the Sri Lankan government finds a proper solution to the economic crisis.
