Actress Go Hyun-jung recalled the SBS TV drama ‘Spring Day’ (2005), which was her comeback project after announcing her retirement from the entertainment industry.

Go Hyun-jung recalled 19 years ago and said, “Spring Day is a comeback piece. I thought, ‘I’m acting again.’ I just have to live hard… I think that’s all I thought about.”
‘Spring Day’ is a drama that tells the story of brothers who love the same woman. Go Hyun-jung, Jo In-sung, and Ji Jin-hee play the lead roles.
Go Hyun-jung debuted in the entertainment industry after winning first place in the 1989 Miss Korea pageant. She rose to stardom in the 1995 SBS TV drama “Sandglass.” However, Go Hyun-jung announced her retirement from the entertainment industry that year after marrying Shinsegae Group Chairman Chung Yong-jin.
She had a son and a daughter with Chairman Jeong, but they divorced by mutual consent in 2003, eight years after marriage. She returned to the entertainment industry in 2005 with the SBS TV drama “Spring Days.” Since then, she has appeared in hit works such as “What Are You Doing, Fox?” (2006), “Hit” (2007), “Big Thing” (2010), “The Queen’s Classroom” (2013), “Return” (2018), “My Lawyer, Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment” (2019), “Masked Girl” (2023), and the films “As If You Don’t Know Me Well” (2009) and “Actresses” (2009).
