The 21-year-old goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen is being pulled in all directions after he experienced great success in La Liga as a teammate of Alexander Sørloth in Villarreal. – He is the one with the most saves in La Liga this season. (118)

Filip Jörgensen was born in Lomma in Scania and received a large part of his football education in Malmö FF’s academy (between 2008 and 2014, as well as 2015 and 2016), before he moved to Spain and played for Mallorca and then went to Villarreal.

John Dahl Tomasson has stated that the Swedish Football Association is investigating whether they can lure Jörgensen to represent the Swedish national team, despite the Danish association announcing that the goalkeeper is locked in Denmark.

Jörgensen impressed at Villarreal during the season and is now the club’s first goalkeeper. And his efforts have seen European clubs open their eyes to him, with Newcastle, Dortmund and Juventus in the stands alongside Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool. – And while they are sitting there taking notes, they have learned that Alexander Sørloth is scoring goals and with 14 goals is in 6th place on La Liga’s top scorer list.
